Great work dude. I have a few set of products; mostly are Megs and Mothers. Looking forward to learn more detailing tips/tricks from you.

Malco is good stuff - I still have the can of x-trax spray I snagged at Carlisle a few years back. It's the best stuff I've seen yet for shining up plastics without making them attract dirt and cottonwood seeds.

Just a little update of my recent work.

This 82 Renegade is still a work in progress, I've had it for a week and will have it for probably another. It's sporting original paint and has been family owned since new!

Check out the gloss on this 'Stang! Swissvax application.

Quick wash on this puppy.

My first Maserati returned to me.

Scored a gig at Barrett-Jackson in West Palm Beach, FL.. Ended up getting screwed over on being paid, but still a very cool experience. Me polishing a sweet 'Vette.

I maintain this car... and hate its super soft paint with a passion.

Sealant and engine detail.

Thanks gents. Got a call from another detailer I've networked with for some track car work this weekend. Here's what Saturday entailed:

It looks like you are building a great resume, Austin.

I'm pretty sure I was more excited by the Jeep than all the others though.. There's something wrong with me.

All of the pieces are coming together Mike, always growing and improving. That Jeep certainly is quite the turn around - i'm pretty excited about it myself.

I've read through this thread but didn't see what kind of wax you use. I think you said each car is different but is there one you prefer to use? As I mentioned I use Zaino and I'm happy with it but if there is something better I would change.

I'm phasing out waxes with the widespread acceptance of paint coatings (read this article to get a feel: http://itsbetterwaxed.com/paint-coatings-review/ ). That said, I have a trio of go-to waxes/sealants. Swissvax Onyx for mid to high end jobs, BIG upsell on my part, excellent carnuba. Klasse High Gloss Sealant for daily drivers, hides imperfections and lasts much longer than a standard carnuba. BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection for superior gloss with proper protection, used when I don't need to 'hide' anything.
