With "LOD" Since 1997
JMO....It will never sell at that price. Who would buy it and not drive it?
The Ford museum, but last i remember hearing was that they kept one.
If i hit the mega lottery for millions i may consider it, but i would drive it now and then and to Carlisle

asking price almost the same as when it was bought new. I think our friend on here should "pulley and manual" this one.
$42k is almost $60k in 1998 currency after taking the inflation and other factors into account. So, it's actually a great price ;) The dollar has lost its value in the recent years even more so.

I have a new engine here ready to go, just no car to stuff it into. It gets more difficult every day it seems. It would definitely bring this '98 classic to a '12 technology though ;) Saved enough money yet ???

Seriously though I've been trying to buy this car for years. I don't know why though. It belongs to someone who will care more than I do

There is some wiggle room on the price (quite surprising actually).

Even if it does sell for the asking price, it wasn't a very good investment, was it?

I think he may be better served taking it to an exclusive auction with a reserve price.

I am nowhere near this guy's asking price, if I were I would use it as a down payment for a larger house!

By the way I left you (J) a voicemail - just thinking out loud.

WOW it's like a time capsule! It's not nearly old enough to net that kind of money yet in my opinion. It's absolutely gorgeous though, I wouldn't even want to breath on it let alone drive it :(

I think it would be fun to do a massive burn out with it as I pulled away with it then park it till Carlisle. :D
