Anybody have experience with http://www.automotivetouchup.com ? Specifically the T. Red 12oz cans.
:thumbsup:I just ordered some so I can paint my bumper before Power Tour.
Still not that expensive, would cost close to $600 at a shop.wow i cant afford to paint my bumper! 79.99 for 2 cans
If your car needs a clear coat you have to order the extra can of clear coat paint! What is the year of your Mark? Did you order by color or paint code? One other thing, you gotta shake the crap outta the can before using! If it STILL doesn't match, YES! Be sure to call them and see what they say. You are the first person I've heard complain about Automotive Touch Up.Got the can last week and it's no where near close to T. Red. I figured the T. red they sell should be a close match as a base color, they didn't say anything about having to also buy special clear ect, kinda assumed it was ready to go.
.
Really? I've read many reviews that say otherwise. Not that it's all bad but bad mixes do happen. If your car needs a clear coat you have to order the extra can of clear coat paint! OH! BTW, your color is prob JB. As your profile doesn't say what model year you have, I'm guessing.
Yup. I've been messing with the number of coats, different color primers, cc ect ect and keep getting darn near the same thing each time. I cannot for the life of me get the pink to go away and have red take it's place. Is that with clear coat?
I remember when I did my Nordic Blue, it was different without the clear coat but a good match with the clear coat.
Calling them today. I heard they request pictures (Along w/ sending in the test strip) so hopefully the ones I took yesterday are good enough. I'm sick of spending money trying to get these door handles to match. I'm at the point where the handles I painted with regular Duplicolor T. Red will have to do.What has the company said?
