Toys

I know a lot of you collect some neat stuff but I like to collect toy guns from the 1950's and 1960's. I also have some cap guns from the 1800's. I don't know who remembers Fanner 50 from the early 1960's but I have several of them. That was where I started my collection. I played with them when I was a kid and having them brings back some great memories.

That's pretty cool. I don't know the first thing about toy guns. Being a bit too young, and growing up in the "city," probably has a lot to do with both. I didn't have a lot of exposure.

Still, looks like a great collection. I'd love to learn more about it.

Those are cool!

I used to play with those as a kid. I liked the ones that played the roll of caps the best. The mechanism is simple, but it worked. :)

I remember having to clean them out to keep them firing.:D

LOL. I may post them again next week. It's easy to find something to post if you look back and use something you've used before.

It's times like this when I'm reminded that all of my trains are packed up in a closet.. Why?? I need to build a layout...

I'd need to go "G" gauge for something like that... That's about the only size I don't yet own. And I loves me some garden railway action... I even have the lawn for it.

And since we're in Minnesota......

I guess you guys know summer is over. It's Fall and we don't get cold weather until December. We don't know what snow looks like, I hear it's white but that's just a rumor here. Let me know how the rest of the year goes for you.
