Tru Duals for a 93'

I think I would lean the same way, JP. Liveability over overall volume.
I had that setup (cat-back, dual 2-1/2, single x-pipe and SS Magnaflows) on the '96 and thought it was perfect. Then I done away with the stock manifolds and cats in favor of the Cobra manifolds and no cats.

It is totally different sounding and quite a bit louder now with the Cobra manifolds and no cats.

Yes, I have the Kooks mid-length headers on the '93, stainless downpipes with electric cutouts (capped for now), stainless single x-pipe, dual 2-1/2 stainless back to the rubber-coated Hooker MaxFlows. :D

I still have the chrome turn-down tips with the LSC rear bumper cover that has cutouts for exhaust tips. I need to fix that.

I'm a noob when it comes to different exhaust stuff, one more quick question. If i can have this done --> 3rd cat removed, x-pipe installed, true dual 2.5'' piping and the magnaflow ss mufflers out back- where can i find those magnaflow ss mufflers, and im assuming 2.5'' inlet / 2.5'' outlet

i thought my 97 was to drony while driving when i cut the mufflers off and put a straight piece of pipe on. although i did think it sounded a bit like something exotic when idling cold. you might want to try cutting out the 3rd cat and putting in the dynomax dual in dual out muffler that has a x pipe inside it i have that muffler by itself on a grand wagoneer and its a very impressive sound. if thats to much then you could just add the race bullets out back to act as resonators. and of course weld the stock tips on them.
