Tuner and sway bar

I have an 04 LS and love the car except for 2 things.
1. Lazy throttle and shifts
2. Body roll
Has anyone used an aftermarket tuner with good results? I would like to access to the timing and fuel tables, not just a generic sport tune or high octane tune. There is a local chassis dyno to help me tune this. The shifts are smooth and slow, which is great for the projected market, but I would like them firm at WOT. Has anyone replaced the front O2's with wide bands and successfully made them work with the stock computer? I think this would keep the AFR closer and increase mileage and performance.
I love the ride of this thing. It glides down the highway nice, even on rough roads. I don't see the reason for this, or any, car to have so much body roll. I don't want to lower the car, it's my Minnesota daily driver, but I think stiffer sway bars would be the answer. Where can I get some?

Many use SCT flash programmers. You can have a local tuner set one up with a dynotune or work with a mail order custom tune such as available through one of our sponsors, Blue Oval Chips.

Addco is an aftermarket sway bar supplier, but I don't see any listings for the LS. I think the LS did come with a 'sport' version suspension option which included heavier sway bars?

do you have the chrome trim on your bumpers?
yes = sport model.
no = not sport model.
sst is also a sport model thing.

sport models may have bigger sway bars. not sure.
but they do have stiffer shocks.
i am not sure what all the "Sport Tuned Suspension" included.
it does have larger ball joints though.
no aftermarket sway bars that i know of.

no need for wide band O2s. the regular ones are fine.
the LS is not an easy car to tune, with the VVT and all, so take care.
Torrie at Fast Parts Network is very good at tuning the LS. even over email. he'll work with you.

side note. the LS computer is very complex. Ford once tried to replace the 3.9 Jaguar AJ V8 with a modular 4.6. the car never did work correctly. it overheated and many of the features on the car never worked again.

our LS has very little body roll and is always very confident and planted.
they do not have a lot of roll. even stock.
if you have a lot of roll, there may be underlying issues.

maybe time for some maintenance.

new sport shocks and eibach drop springs. the euro shocks are even better, if you can find them. they are long out of production.
better tires.
ball joints.
upper control arms.
sway bar bushings and end links. front and rear.
rear tie rods.
rear suspension bushings.
