Video Capture Software

What is everyone using for this? I am trying to transfer old (really old - 1940's) 8mm movies to my hard drive for future copy to DVD. I can't seem to find a good way to capture good data. I am using a digital Video camera (Sony DCR-TRV103 Digital 8) to record from a movie screen movies shown from a Dual 8 mm projector and am not happy with the results.....

Any ideas - other than sending them out to a very expensive processor?

Costco does this for a reasonable price...do you have those over there?

So I have 14,000 feet..... maybe I just buy COSTCO?
If you have 10 400 foot reels, that's 4,000 feet. Take away 150 feet (to be added back @ $17.99 later) and you get 3,850 feet X .11 a foot =$423.50, then add in the first 150 feet @ $17.99 and you get $441.49.

Sounds like a deal considering the painful process you're going through Bud. :)
