I ran into Jack at the grocery store today, so I had to tell him that we're planning another meet.

He's still driving a Taurus SHO, but he said he has a new one on order.

He said he could give us a run for our money.

He did seem interested, I'm not sure if he could make it, but I told him I'd shoot him an email when the plans were finalized.:thumbsup:

I might be able to make it. I haven't been down a drag strip in years, I might give it a go with my BMW. I'm a little concerned about the clutch, though, since it has 162,000 miles on it...

The '96 ... needs some attention but it wouldn't be the first time as a stand-in.

We need to pick a weekend, though I must admit I have no real interest in racing if the Blue car is down.

If I'm not mistaken, your navigator, town car, and awesome work truck, would all qualify.

Yes, this shin dig is still on!

We're still shooting for the first weekend in May, unless someone has a better idea. I'm not sure if this will conflict with the north east drag meet?

I don't expect that a lot of people can make it, but the more the merrier.

And of course, you don't have to run your car, but why not? Just to see what it will do. Maybe just shoot for the 1/8th mile run.:thumbsup:

Dave, I haven't seen you in ages, if I go you better be there. Edit, don't know if any of our cars are strip ready, and I don't really race anymore (although... arm twisting will be happening right?).
