What do I need to do...

What do I need to do to get the car ready for a dynotune?

I have an SCT switch chip. The car 'needs' nothing, most maintenance items have very low mileage, the O2s have been replaced. The plugs only have a couple thousand miles. The only thing I could think of is clean the air filter and MAF, replace the fuel filter(maybe 10,000 miles?) and possibly a seafoam treatment. I'd have to check how long until an oil change is due.

Sounds like you have the right ideas. When I got my dynotune, I got a new air filter, new fuel filter, cleaned the MAF, and I had to clean the crap off the computer connection thing (which it sounds like you are ok since you already have a chip.)

I don't know about the seafoam, and maybe some others will chime in with something. As far as I know, you should be all set once you take care of the things you mentioned.

What plugs do you have? Do you have a MMX drive shaft?

I have the AWSF-22Cs. I do have a MMx driveshaft.

Why not the AWSFA-12C? With the 22Cs they may have to retared the timing a bit.

It is good to have the MMX, so they can run in 3rd gear as long as they know how to remove the limiter.

I agree with Steve. Run the 2 step colder plugs for some more timing advance since you go to the track. They could also burn you a less aggressive program on a 4 bank chip for around town with stock plugs so you don't foul the cold plugs.

I am sure you are aware, but since you have that PI tc, MMX, and 410's, you could probably have them raise the redline without worry of the stock tc ballooning on you if your a/f mix will allow, and there are power gains beyond 6k to be had.

Seafoam is great, and so is the Valvoline synthetic fuel system cleaner - the once a year $10.00 bottle.
