What is better jmod? Or B and M shift kit???

With "LOD" Since 1997
I don't know if this is true or not, I did the B&M many years ago. What I was told is that the B&M shift firmness was related to how hard you hit the gas, so if you were light on the throttle the shifts would not be as firm in comparison to WOT. With the Jmod the shifts are always firm. I was told this was due to the progressive rate springs in the B&M kit. Again, not sure if true or not, but I sold my Mark VIII with 168k and 100k+ had the B&M kit in the trans and the trans was still shifting great. Also I had an auxiliary trans cooler.

Both are going to get you what you want in terms of performance. The B&M products are top shelf been using them for years. I have just J-Mod my Mark cant tell you how much i like it yet. I can only go by what others have told me. You see salt is still on the ground here. My baby won't be out till next month. Just make sure you update the accumulators at the same time if your trans is pre 98. Also take your time drilling the plate pre 98 plates are hard to find as far as cost the accumulators 13 quarts of fluid i use full synthetic drill bits gaskets a tad under $200. The first time you chirp first to second and kick the back out priceless.
