Before you do that, Google the words 'Mac' with 'upcoming viruses' or something similar. The experts have said that since the virus-creating community has only been hitting PCs since the beginning of time, they are starting to go after Macs as fresh meat, because they are actually MORE susceptable to viruses. For all intents and purposes, PCs have developed a good 'immune system' from the infections, so the hackers are looking for easier prey.I'm thinking Mac!
I have gotten at least 10 blue screen of death with Windows 7 but I think I got it working now.It look like some of my ram is going out so I took 2 2GB sticks out and it runs great now.Good specs on the PC, how do you like Win 7 so far? I'm going to guess you like....
You need to fix your computer before blaming the OS.I have gotten at least 10 blue screen of death with Windows 7 but I think I got it working now.It look like some of my ram is going out so I took 2 2GB sticks out and it runs great now.

I actually despise Vista because it is the words greatest resource hog. It is so anemicly slow on my laptop I want to throw it out the window... and it is a Core Duo 1.6 with 2 gigs of ram. I can't watch 2 porn vids side by side.
On my Desktop which has a Q6600 Quad Core, it runs very fast, no performance issues except for 10 updates a week and a reboot.
But neither computer crashed or had a blue screen in 2 years, NOT EVEN once!
In the work environment, IT is going to be able to do more tricks with Windows 7. Make stuff easier for us.I just got a new computer with Windows 7. Everything I was told was 7 is good and to go ahead with it.
I went from an old puter with xp. So far I like it, but it's taking some getting used to. The "simpler" things are made for users the harder time I seem to have with them.
But man, this thing runs fast and quiet.
Yup, memory problems can cause all kinds of misc errors.I have gotten at least 10 blue screen of death with Windows 7 but I think I got it working now.It look like some of my ram is going out so I took 2 2GB sticks out and it runs great now.
I hate the number of windows updates Vista has. I usually set my laptop to hibernate when not in use so I don't have to wait 5 minutes for a cold boot. Then you get some random MS update that requires a reboot. You need to fix your computer before blaming the OS.
