Wiper Chuck

At least I think that's a good name for it, I took my wipers off and now I can't find the little metal piece that keeps the wiper inplace, it's like a chuck block only real small....anyway anyone know were i can get a replacement? The rainy season is coming in FL...!!

Are we talking you removed the wiper arm or the wiper blade?

If it's the small 'key' on the wiper arm splined attachment point to the shaft, it is not needed to retain the wiper arm, only to orient the position of the arm on the shaft.

Yea I took the arm off, the pic has the cut out where the key goes on the shaft, the metal key is what I lost.
Will the wiper work well without it? Or will it skip?

You will be fine. I lost the same key as well. The trick is positioning the wiper in correct alignment so it is horizontal when 'off'.
