I saw so many names in this thread that I had forgotten about but it sure brought back a lot of fond memories.

As do I, I love them and wish there was an active board for them. Unfortunately there is only a few people here and some on Lincolns online that are big fans. I glance at crownvic.net for some tech issues once and a while but not too many TC fans there either.

And I guess I always stayed pretty quiet about my old '86. Back when I first got it, the Internet wasn't quite so advanced. I just sort of figured everything out..

I suppose there isn't much to talk about when they are so easy to maintain.

I've always wanted a limo...
You should pick up Jackie Gleason limo, some guy tried to sell it on Pawn Stars
"The Great One". This Lincoln Continental Executive limousine was custom built for Jackie Gleason by Moloney Coach Builders in 1978

Sold. where can I pick it up? Really, the only thing that has kept me from buying one is storage. It'd kill me to keep one outside, and my garage isn't deep enough.

The only time I have troulbe with mine is during the winter if left outside the door locks mech. freeze up that I can't get in the car. So it has to stay inside during the winter. No spray lube has worked yet for me. In the summer I have to keep checking the gas tank (EVAP) vents. Mud dobbers type wasps keep making nest in them which causes the tank to vapor lock. Looking for some type of screen or filter to put on them to fix this. Other than that, she just keeps on going.

I have a dealership contacting me to do a build for them on a 2010. They want me to build one that handles better and add my supercharger setup to it. Still working out the details on this one. If it happens it will be a great project.

Will do, it would make a great project and first big one in the new shop.

I just picked up a new larger shop in a much better (central area) location right in Indy. I'm the first tenant actually make it a shop so it's bare bones. No finished walls or anything, lots of work to do.

I also started a business Facebook page, you can check out the shop progress there http://www.facebook.com/pages/Blue-Oval-Chips/136616029829503

i have three 90's model town cars , metal tools , and more than a few screws loose.

the biggest(heh) issue i have with a town car how insufferably small they are (unless you are hauling four hefty adults around) inside. i want to 'truck out' a tc.....i'm convinced that the cabin rear can be attached behind the wheelwells, and the roof spliced to create a faux 'tailgate'... im seeing a six door wagon..... something i plan on playing with ....any thoughts?
