Unless I am mistaken (and I could be) there never were factory adaptor rings. There were some made by an after market supplier, and headlight housings for standard bulbs from the factory.
i know there were no factory options for this. i am looking for those aftermarket adapter rings so that i can use aftermarket hid light kit with my factory hid housings.
