Alternator is at it again. Crusing with some buddies last night. Screwing around kicked the back out. Bam dash and gauges went out. But i was ready i watched the voltage gauge spiked at 19.7 volts. When i took my foot off the gas it quickly dropped down to 14.5 dash and gauges came back on. I got it to do the same thing two more times on the way home. Its funny as i was fooling around all night. It seemed to start doing it after we had been driving for around 40-50 miles. Maybe that's how long it takes for the Alt to heat up to the point. That facilitates the proper conditions for this electrical problem. In any case i went ahead and ordered a new Alt from a very reputable company D.B Electrical. Those guys are great never had a problem with them. Should have used them first time. Oh well live and learn.
