World Ford Challenge

I will be there! I'll be bringing the LOD banner, and merchandise and all that, too. Actually, if someone has a tent, we're being given a space to have our own tent.

It really should be a great time. Especially if the TCCoA shows up again this year, they're a fun group to hang out with.

RE: World Ford Challenge

Only 5 more weeks! So - has everyone signed up yet? The kid and I are planning on wearing our LOD Racing Team T-shirts to cheer for STpro when he races his Mark. Anyone else racing this year?

Mark - if you don't sign up soon I'm gonna start calling you at least once a day to bug you....

We also will need someone to judge this event for the club (part of our responsibilities as a sponsor). If someone wants to volunteer for this, let me know and I do believe that we will be given a free pass (worth $50) to the event that I will give to the person who volunteers.

There will be vendors there, and I know UPR offers a discount. Usually there is the sign up for MM&FF and get a free event t-shirt. Food and drink are available, although people tend to bring their own coolers.

There's riverboat gambling nearby, and it just is a really fun time.

I'm on the fence about race or show. I still haven't received actual confirmation if both could somehow be done. I desperately need to find time to get the car painted and install the modded intake. We'll just have to see how the next few weeks pan out.

My real dilemma is the wife, she's more of a show groupie than a pit crew. ;) But I told her she could still hang with the LOD crowd and I'll park in the pits if I decide to race. She has graciously allowed me to do whichever I choose.

BTW, she would really enjoy company at the riverboat casino. {hint, hint} :7
