Wow... It's not only amazing that they resorted back to the segregated prom, but that they had been holing segregated proms up until very recently...

That's sad, and wrong, but really, if it's the students doing it, that's their right. It's really too bad that they have to overtly cite race as a factor, it's only illustrating how closed their minds really are.

Just ran across this thread, and I ask you all, please don't judge all of us in GA by this one small town fiasco.

The county where this occured is way out in the boonies, most of the land is owned bypaper companies and such. The biggest industries in the county are a landfill and a strip mine for sand.

But they do have one nice thing though, the largest and best stocked gun store I have ever visited. Must be a multi million dollar inventory. And I'm not talking about those quasi-assault weapons the media hypes about, but sporting and target guns that may reach 5 figures or so in price! Oh, those bad boys are there also, but they are not the main emphasis.

My latest addition to my collection came from that store.
