Any Advice??

Well everyone, the time has come..I'm getting married today @ 2:30! I know its short notice but if any of you local guys would like to come to the church, the address is:

I made sure to get only the newest Town Cars!!

I know I'm going to hear all the "DON'T DO IT" comments but its cool and I'm ready for the big day. I don't post on the boards much beacause I'm always at work but just in case Pete or Leo needed someone from the NY Metro chapter to help out with something, I just wanted to let them know that I won't be around until August 12th. We are going to Hawaii for 2 weeks. I hate flying..what a trip to be taking for someone who hates flying right? To make things even more comfortable we are taking the ever popular and bankrupt United Air. Oh well..Sorry if I'm rambling on..I guess its my nerves! Aloha!

PS/ I hate flying too. As a matter of fact, I've never been in an airplane and never plan on it, so you're better than I with flying.

Congratulation.

If the 2 of you just remember 1 thing, and that is to accept each other with whatever faults you may have, and not to expect perfection out of each other. We are all imperfect sorry to say.

Also forget what you have heard about marriage being a 50/50 proposition. It's more like a 75/25 deal. Give 75% and expect 25% in return. That goes for both of you.

This has worked in my marriage for over 44 years.

Once when a buddy mine was about where you are right now, pacing the floor thinking holly (dirty word) what have I gotten myself into, his father stopped in with some advise for him. Just say yes dear and do it her way and you can fix it later.

Some old Floridian friends of mine were asked on their 50th anniversary what the secret to surviving the years was for them, he said “sleep naked” she said “overlook the little things”.

Advice: Get a prenuptial. I should have the 1st time, and I have one now, and I'm not even married!!!

Trish ONCE tried the "Housework should be 50/50, just like the rest of the relationship" argument. I said fine. Then I told her she would have to find 1, maybe 2 part time jobs IN ADDITION to her full-time job because her income was not the equal to mine. Remember, 50/50 I told her. But I told her we could work something out, in that instead of working 1 or 2 part time jobs to make up the deficiency, she could do extra work around the house in trade. That was the last time that we ever had that argument....

Im never getting married, I hate arguing with people over stupid things, and thats one of the things that happens in marriage.

Thanks for all your well wishes! The wedding was awesome..everything was PERFECT..We leave for Hawaii at 7am tomorrow morning on United Flight 3. Well, speak to you all on August 9th!!

I'm getting married in less than 3 mos - October 18 - check out our website.

Also, a word of warning, my pic on this site is totally scary looking (Kylie looks beautiful as always) but this was taken after I had gotten up at 3am, flew from DFW to Minneapolis, flew from Minneapolis to Mason City, IA, drove all around, it was 5pm by the time this was taken - I was WIPED-OUT!!!
