Well, well, well......look at the new AFC leaders. It looks like the Patriots might be a team to be reckoned with. They're now 7-0 against teams with a winning record. They've won 9 straight games, equal to the longest winning streak in the NFL this year. They've proven that they can win at home or on the road. They've shown the ability to win low scoring games, high scoring games, offensively, defensively or with special teams. They play well on turf or grass, in the snow or sweltering heat.

They've won in Denver, Philadelphia, Miami and Indianapolis. They've beaten the Titans, Dolphins and Cowboys in hard fought games in New England. Meanwhile the Chiefs are a paltry 3-2 against teams at .500 or better. I don't know who the Chiefs are playing the next three weeks, but they better win out if they think they're gonna get homefield because I can't picture the Pats losing more than one game the rest of the way. Personally, I think they will win out against the Jaguars, Jets and Bills. I know Belichek will have the team prepared to win the rest of the way. The chiefs defense looks a little shakey to say the least, the Pats meanwhile have 2 shutouts in the last four games. I don't know but it's looking more and more like the Pats of 2 years ago and I think we all know what happened that year. I wish luck to anyone from the AFC with hopes to go to the Superbowl this season because as of now, it's coming through New England.

RE: Attention: All football fans

Bring your Patriots to the dome in St. Louis. You'd be stupid to bet against the Rams when there playing at home.

RE: Attention: All football fans

Were you a Rams fan two years ago? If I remember correctly, we beat them on turf in New Orleans. Plus, what does playing in St. Louis have to do with anything? It's clearly not going to happen, the teams are in different conferences. Right now, I'm leaning towards the Eagles to go to the Superbowl from the NFC.....you think the Rams will beat the Eagles?

RE: Attention: All football fans

yes, I remember the Pats and Rams in N.O. a few years back.

The Rams are 11-0 in the dome. If the Rams are capable of capturing home field advantage in the playoffs I expect them to make another superbowl run. If the Rams travel to Philly for the NFC title, then things could get iffy.

The Rams appear unbeatable inside the dome.

RE: Attention: All football fans

Doesn't matter where the Eagles play, inside or outside. The rams will get SPANKED by the Eagles, regardless of where they play IF the rams even make it out of the first round.

New england and KC in the AFC Championship game. I think Holmes and Gonzales are just too tough. Since the Pat's should host the AFC Championship game, I give it to them on Home Field advantage alone.

Even IF the rams capture the bye, they still won't have homefield.

The NFC Road to the Superbowl comes through here. Philly.

See you in January.
