Well...this past weekend I FINALLY got to race my new sled. Some local guy with a ZR800 was running his mouth that he would spank my "puny" SRX700. My SRX700 is set-up VERY hot. 60ft times can be in the 1.4 range. Not too shabby for 43 cubic inches. Anyways, he runs his mouth enough so we decide to go to a grass field and do some runs. Even with 192 picks in my track, I spin (huge rooster tail I was told!), but by 100 ft. I had caught him and it was game over. 2nd run, I decide to be a smart-ass, and line up 1.5 sled lengths BEHIND him. Yep..hammered him again. He wants to try again, but his belt exploded on the start. Oh well. My sled is set-up nearly identical to the one in this video. You can visually see how much faster it is than the other. Woohoo. It's gonna be a great winter, and I have some sponsorship lined up for the summer drags. Anyways, check out the vid, and let me know what you think. They really come off the line HARD. Great fun!!
