With things getting so hectic just a week before Christmas I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone here a Very Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and a very Happy and Healthy New Year!

It was really nice tonight. We have 9 houses on our block. Every year we invite everyone to ours for the first night of Chanukah. 8 out of 9 came, the 9th is away. They formed a semi circle in back of Karen & I and I lit the candles and Karen & I recited the prayer. Then we served a mouthwatering apple & walnut cake with glazed sugar crust/coating and expresso, we all sat in the den and yakked it up. Later I served some cordials and wine. Everyone left at 10.
Next week we get to go to the annual Christmas party at whoever is the host this year. I showed everyone my Chanukah gift and even though none are "car people" they all though it was beautiful! The other Jewish people on the street (one other) brought Karen a plant. Really a nice evening.

and WE DO absolutely wish all of you guys & girls a Merry Christmas spent among loved ones in excellent health. I am a little drunk, right now, and I guess that's why I am (for once) spelling words correctly!! The computer screen is moving back & forth so I am shutting down & going to bed.
