RE: A letter from Ford Motor Company to me

and with their upcoming models, its only a vision

RE: A letter from Ford Motor Company to me

Stanley,

What did the letter say? Did you ask them not to produce it since it was an ugly piece of crap on the puny Tbird platform? :)

RE: A letter from Ford Motor Company to me

personally, I think the direction they SHOULD be going with the Mark series, is along the body design of the jaguar XK8. They can easily work from that platform, and add their subtle touches.

One look at the IX , and I see an over-styled T-Bird with too much attention to "how the hell are we going to make this think resemble a Lincoln?"

if anyone wants to spend some time on Photoshop, and mess with a Gen 2 AND a jag XK8, I think you might come up with what I am talking about. Oh, if I could only draw what I can picture in my head.

of course, we all know that Lincoln will not go "backwards". they never have. they will most likely concentrate on the 4 door, or truck platform. I fear the Mark VIII is the last of its kind from ANY of the "big three".

Well see.
