I was trying to resurrect this old post because I knew how much Trixie loved that song. Any way it would seem that Quiznos has adopted these monkeys with bad teeth for their new ad campaign. Has anyone seen these commercials yet? It has gotten enough attention here in Tx that the Morning Anchors on Fox news actually interviewed the spokesman for Quiznos on the air. Just thought I'd share this tid bit of information with everyone.

Wanna hear something odd. I've been seeing Quiznos commercials (including those new ones) for the past 2 years at least. The only thing is, I've never seen a Quiznos in my life. I don't think there are any around here. They are damn funny commercials, but you would think that they'd advertise where they actually have some market share.

I just showed the original one to my Dad and he say that they're Koala bears, not monkeys. :)

You're right. LOL, I was just there yesterday. It's in the South Shore Plaza, one of the huge malls around here. 15 minutes away. I didn't realize that it was even there. :)

I dont know how to explain it. It is like when you were a kid, and there was always ONE thing that freaked you out. it took years for you to "forget about it"...

well, those quiznos "monkey-freak-bears" send freAkin' chills thRough me. It isnt cool at all. they are freaks, and so are the folks that made them. They are impLanting subliminal messages about fat free jell-o, prilosec, glue-sniffing being good for you, and reallY stale BAR-B-Q sauce hidden in the back of your aunt's fridge.

They are secretly telling you to chew 3 day old coffee grounds, make quiet little "beep-beep" sounds in your car when you go into reverse, and they make you wonder why all the keys on your keyboard are placed where they are(the X should be where the Q is by the way).

Just freakish, yet mesmerizing. I cant imagine why a high-dollar(they aint cheap folks) Sub Sandwhich joint would choose "rodent" resembling characters to sing in a latino accent about....

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! MAKE THEM STOP!!!
