I haven't had this much fun on this site in a long time. Some really good threads going. I asked my wife to do the same leaning forward camera shot with her 38DD's but she didn't think it was too funny. Too bad, I was looking forward to posting a 65 megabite file. LOL.

I am sorry to say, that my beloved Maplecrest has taken on a new business approach and a new way of doing business. They are becoming a "Rip & Tear Highway Store" ~ They installed a "Watch Tower" in the showroom - you know what they are? They got new managers, new sales managers, a "watchie", mandatory UP book, and are now 'ballin' customers. Geeez. Upon walking in the showroom you get immediately jumped, now. They got a new "heavy" as a closer and a new F & I guy that looks like Santa Claus, and sounds like Pee Wee Herman!
It's bad in there, now-a-days! Now, for the first time, they are using gimmecks to sell cars, too. Mass mailing offering new 2004 Town Cars for $24,500.00. The catch is that you have to finance at least 1/2 of it thru Ford Motor Credit at 9% for 5 years, be a member of AARP and be trading in a LINCOLN.

The big boss took me around to meet all the new people and told them all to leave me alone, that I was special there and me (or my family) had been customers since 1983. Several of them gave me burning searing icy cold stares. Only one actually said 'hello' to me.
Scary.............Indeed!
There goes their CSI down the toilet. This new crew is gonna drag them from 99.3 to 33.9 CSI ;(

I'm NOT bitchin' - Ron, but really when you have for at least 2 decades built your business on honesty, customer satisfaction, dedication to the customerm, and set yourself apart, in a field of vultures, as an oasis of tranquility, honesty, and have earned the distinction of the #1 Lincoln/Mercury dealer in America, and then after 20-25 years of this, and displaying the award, "The President's Award" in the showroom and plaques of laminated letters from the Ford Family, and then.....

Within a month, you hire a new "management company" to come in and chuck out the window 25 years worth of good will, and take on a rip 'n tear - toss 'em to the wolves - low ball persona - THAT'S BAAAD!

Since I have always touted Maplecrest to the nines, I thought that I should post about the change. I thought people (in the area, who have gone there in the past) should be aware of the changes.

I can tell you that my next car, will require be a trip baack to the Cadillac dealership. I no longer like the fragrance at Maplecrest!!

I think you are lyin' to me. Your next car will require a trip to the Audi or Infiniti dealership for service.....:)

Audi, Cadillac or Infiniti (Done alphabeticly) ;-)

I like the Infiniti. It recalls the Imperial in that it starts with an "I" and also has 8 letters in it. Maybe I could change the lettering, using old letters that I have have have it say....aww. never mind......:+

What's a Gs430 ? Some new Infiniti I don't know about?

The "Q" has the "toys" {features} and the gadgets but it looks outwardly like it's melting ;(

The "M" (IMO) is the most beautiful car on the road. So smooth and balanced in design, it just flows like liquid. Yes, I love the "M" ~ as you may recall, I actually went to buy an M45. I was there, in the showroom, the dealer is .8 mile from my house, super convenient. Problem was the "M" with all the goodies was $47,637 List, and the Town Car LTD was $47,645. A $8. spread. The Infiniti dealer would give me $1,200 off of sticker, and there was no rebate(s). Maplecrest gave me $2,000 off of sticker, and total of all rebates was a sneeze over $6,000, so the difference in price to me was $6,800 plus the 6% tax on that ($400) making the Town Car $7,200 less money. Had to go with the T.C. for that spread.

BTW, how's things with the Jeep? Do you like it? Report??
