Glad to here it missed you. We had one 2 years ago and took out a whole block of homes here on Catawba and several blocks in town. I lost the tops of several trees, and power was out for four days. Lost all my refrig goods and went to a motel. Insurance didn't cover, but that's Ok cause we were all safe. As a matter of fact we were eating dinner & didn't even realize what happened until after the T passed, thought it was just winds off the lake.
