SpaceShipOne

RE: SpaceShipOne

I'm still waiting to see a REAL privately funded trip to space. There are several guys working in their garages not sponsored by a founder of Microsoft. A couple of them a near completion. Now THAT would be very impressive. I'm less impressed with Burt Rutan (in case you forgot, Burt designed the Voyager, which flew around the world)..Burt has been doing contracts with NASA and others for years, and was sponsored by the private funds of Paul Allen (over $25 million rumour has it). That's cool and all. But I want to see someone mix up a solid fuel booster in their garage, and fire themselves into space...LOL

RE: SpaceShipOne

Im with RRocket on this one too. Anyone into, dare i say, "anti grav" platforms besides me? What about that russian that made the lifter chariot a while back? Or the guy that was messing with Scalar radar based in TTownsend/ Tesla designs? Or how bout the guy with the Geo metro with hydro conversion motor that got awsome gasmilage? I wanna see these guys succeed before thier secret discoveries are silenced with money.

That's been done. It was called the Soviet space program. Just ask the guys who landed on the moon...at 15,000 mph. Or the four guys who've made it past Neptune.
