OK, I've waited too long again, and I need costume ideas.

I like the funny stuff, something I can make at home using glue (glitter we have too), but no sewing cause I don't sew (but I can staple things).

So, anyone have any good, easy, comfortable costume ideas which would hopefully get a laugh?

Your local thrift stores will have some costumes that they've saved for this holliday. Check out the larger stores. I have a different approach to Halloween. I visit thrift stores during the year and buy anything that might be part of a costume. I have a closet full along with boxes of accessories. My most recent find was a coon skin cap for $2.50. I couldn't pass it up. Some of my friends come over and put togather a costume. Tampa throws a huge Halloween party by fencing off a 5 block by 10 block area which has many bars and resturants. They set up five outdoor sound stages, each with a theme like jazz, blues, metal, rap, etc. It's party time from about 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

You could always find the tail end of a donkey and go as John Kerry...:)

My work is having a costume contest, I'm going to dress up as a Nuclear Missle, and go as the Missing WMD's. I'll have signs that say property of Saddam, etc. You can try that, it's easy and funny. Put wanted posters all over the place...last known location, baghdad, If found, please call whatever #....:)

well my buddies wanted me to get a feidel castro mask and then get some camo stuff and shoot holes in it. then dress up as a dead castro...... the other idea was to come with my face painted white and a wig with a name tag chris farley on it and bag of white powerder...... my best idea was for me and my brother to come as the mario brothers.. mario and luigie.... although these are all good ideas we just went and got some thing at the store. i am coming as the cat in the hat and my brother is coming as a pimp with a full on costume and my sister is coming as a pirate.

Just get a walker and go out as an old lady...every other part of that costume you have at home....LOLOLOL...(I'm a prick, I know..) :B

Cool ideas. Except you, Ron. Actually last year I was a frumpy old housewife. The problem was, the kids who came to the door late in the evening didn't think it was a costume. :(

Here's my costume: Black sweat pants, black shirt with those marshmallow Easter Peeps glued all over. I had to order the Peeps from a candy store in NYC. Nobody else had them since they are out of season. My costume: a chick magnet.

How about making a table out of cardboard, with clock radio, glass of water, etc. attached to it. Then, cut a hole in it that you can fit into, then put a lamp shade on your head, and go as a "One Night Stand" ::wtf::
