The thing is, Ford has been making many bad/unwanted decisions, and the problem is, no good decisions come about in return.

hmmm well that sucks for lighting hardcore guys but i understand ford resoning. in the next couple years things motor wise will be in development. also this make me laft cause i know like 6 lighting guys who where banking on the new one to trade there truck in for.

Yep that does suck. I am glad that I got a 2004 Focus SVT before they were all gone. One of 313 red 3 doors for 2004. You know though, I would not say that the lightning is gone for ever though. Ford and SVT especially have a way of changing their minds later. SVT for example had the contour and decided to discontinue it then a few years later decided a high hp four was a good idea again and brought out the Focus. I do however morn the loss of both the SVT Lightning and Focus with the rest of the Ford enthusiasts out there.

almost every one i know is lafting right now at all those people that told us they had put deposits down for a new lighting. i am shure svt will bring back some specialty cars but it may be another year of resructuring. i belive they might bring a turbo focus here possibly awd and they are planning on a bunch of new line ups for car. we can not count ford out.

I too have heard the rumors of an American version of the Focus RS. A turbo with awd would be great somewhere around 300 hp I think. Hope it comes true!
