I am selling the V-10 I was hoping to put in my Mark VIII. After thinking it was a year 2000 with PI heads, I discovered it was actually a 1999 with non PI heads after the fact. The engine is mostly compete, with an ECM, all the wiring, manifolds, intake, even an AC compressor, etc. I was told it had only 9,000 miles when I bought it, but I can't confirm that.
The entire engine has been disassembled and is in pieces across my garage. I could put it back together but the bolts are one time use bolts, so they would have to be replaced. New bolts are an expense I really don't want to pay, but if it's a deal-breaker we'll talk. I also did not yet take the time to learn how to degree the cams and everything, so if I completly put it together, it would need work before it would run. I just want to let people know that.
Due to the shoddy way it was shipped to me, there are a few small things broken wiring wise. I'll post pics when I get a new battery for my camera. Also it does not have valve covers at this time. The wiring harness is massive, and some of the connectors may be broken. I have not gone through it all to check. I can tell you that's they are quite sandy, as the seller lived in the nevada desert.
If at all posible it would be easier for everyone if they picked it up, but if shipping is required, I'l find a way. I'm located in Xenia, OH, near Dayton.
There are several pics on my website below. This would be a great engine for a project car, as it has gobs of torque, and with a new set of heads could put out 310 HP and 425 TQ.
I'm going to ask $2000 and we'll split shipping, but I'm open to offers.
