It's not easy finding a room in carlisle two weeks before the event. But i did succeed. Found a room at the Ramada Limited, 3 miles from the fairgrounds. $112 a night. no highspeed internet except in the main building, which isn't me. the only room they had left was a simgle bed smoking room. now i just need to register for the show and i'm good to go!

RE: hotel reservations

I've had something come up at work and won't be able to make it to Carlisle this year. I had a reservation at the Comfort Suites in Carlisle that I just canceled. If anybody still needs a room they may have one now. Their phone number is 717-960-1000.

RE: hotel reservations

well, due to frugality and work, i have canceled my hotel reservation. i will be staying in aberdeen on friday night (going to be working tomorrow) and i will drive up saturday morning. so i only need a hotel saturday night, and when i called to adjust my reservation they informed me that it was a 2 night minimum on my reservation at the ramada. so they can shove it, i'll sleep in my lincoln and put $120 back in my pocket. i don't mind sleeping in the car i just wish i had a good place to wash up sunday morning. oh well, i guess that's what deodorant is for. sunday night i'll drive back down here and stay in aberdeen again.

RE: hotel reservations

Dave I am only one person here in Carlisle. You are more than welcome to crash with me Saturday night if you want. Real nice hotel only 1 mile from the grounds.
