Oops, event dates are Thursday, May 17 through Sunday May 20.

I made my reservations - I'll be in on Thursday, leaving Sunday.

Still have no clue who will be joining me, but I do know the Kid marked this event on his calendar as soon as I told him about it.
 
Just called to make my Res and they couldn't find a Lincolns of Distinction rate. They had that confirmation # there but it wasn't under Lester. The intraweb is showing a lower rate also.

Just want to make sure this is for the Extended Stay - Airport before I make a reservation. And since they don't have the group I'll just book it online.
 
Yes, it is the Extended Stay near the Airport. Confirmation number 21862 was made by my wife.

They are supposed to try and arrange the 'Lincolns of Distinction' group in a block of adjoining rooms. Try to call during business hours through the week and see if you can get someone more knowledgeable? Let me know if there's a problem and I'll have Mrs. Driller call and straighten them out. :wink:
 
Finally made my reservation. Confirmation #: 92262447. Hope we have a bar/resturant in the hotel. I'm going to book my flight out there now. I'm going to wait a little bit and see if Isaac or Joe are coming before I think about a rental car. But if I get a rental I'll make sure its a Lincoln or a Jag. ;)

See you then Jay! No restaurant or bar in the hotel, but we have full size fridges and there's a cool bar not far from there.
 
Apparently the employee turnover rate at the hotel is pretty high? :rolleyes:

There is not a reserved 'block' of rooms per se, but make your reservation and have them note you are part of the "Lincolns of Distinction" group. The deal was they would do their best to put us in adjoining rooms at the rates I posted. The confirmation number they give you is your personal confirmation number and not necessarily the group number.

Try again and perhaps ask for the manager? I have the same issues with other hotels all the time in that arrangements made with management are not always known to the desk clerks for some reason. Or I can have the Mrs. call and try to straighten them out. :eek:

This just shows how fortunate we were to have Jay handle our accomodations in St. Louis last year. :)
