Serge hooked me up big time!

J

OCCUPY LoD :)
I'd like to send a special thanks to Serge for hooking me up with a TON of Black LSC interior parts! Thanks Serge!

I went down to his place some 100 miles away to do a brake job and door handle swap on his 96 M8, and pull the 4.30's out of his "dead" 95 LSC.

Brakes went great, door handle wasn't too bad, diff removal NOT so well....one axle was frozen in the carrier(guessing the "c" ring(not C clip) is tweeked) and I was able to pop the other axle out, only to find that one of the lower spindle bolts was installed BEFORE the axle in the hub. :( I tried unmounting the diff and moving it to the drivers side, but I still didn't have enough room to the the free'd axle out. My main goal was the to get that axle out of the way and stick my screw driver inside and pound out the other axle(as I've done on numerous FWD cars). No dice(sorry Serge).

Anyways.....I want to send him a super special thanks for hooking me up because now my Mark looks swwweeeet and his car(parts, lol) can live on!

Check it out!

Next step is to install the Window switches, door handle bezels, door lock/mirror switches, a/c vents, cruise control switches, rear ash trays, and sun visors! Sooo excited, now I'll have the two tone look I wanted with have the work! All these should excentuate my B.A. 03 Cobra Steering wheel/air bag!

Looks great Jesse!

I did the same thing to my green Mark last year.

My seats aren't LSC seats though.

I still want to get a black carpet for it. I've done some photo chopping and I think it will look great with a black carpet too.

That looks great Bill! I like the black strip in the back, did you do that on the front door panels too? I got black floor mats to go with the seats, so we'll see how that looks!

J that interior looks really good in your car, glad it worked out for you. Do any of the silver frost cars come with black interior stock?

That black strip came stock with both of my opal grey interiors. It goes across the doors, instrument panel, center AC vents, and passenger's air bag.

They changed a lot in 95 with the light graphite color.

Black mats sounds like a good idea too.:)

Oh ok...you have the dark gray with black two tone, my buddy had that on his 94. Well...I like how it looks, I'm gonna do that :D

I have never seen one... and I have seen many. Must be either extra rare or non-existant.

I think pearl on black is super rare as well. Serge's car is the only car that I am aware of with that color combo.

Those are the parts that I have been painting! In my 94, it had alittle too much black interior!! That rubberized paint SUCKS to take off!!

J, car look good with those seats, now why can't ford think up things like this to mix up the interior of these cars when they were being made?

Good idea...I bet a heated pressure washer works good too!

Got the other parts installed........only thing left is the white face gauges and the cruise control switches.

every time I turn around you make the old "silver streak" look better, can't wait for the rest of the upgrades.

I try Bob :D

Oh...BTW...what happend here?! LMAO!!!!

BEFORE....I didn't make this mess, thats for sure. Figured I'd remove the seats while I had use of my buddies carpet cleaner and I got an unpleasant surprise. :D

Oh man I LOVE the way that interior came out Jesse. Probably the best Visual mod you've done to your car :).

Thanks Max! I'm thinking of just doing the speaker grills in the doors, painting the top door panel strips won't look right unless I do the dash part too, and than I'm thinking it'll be too much black. Now my gray CC switches stand out like a SORE THUMB! haha

Guess I'm going the opposite of you guys with the lighter accents in a dark interior, still got the doors and the rear strips to do, plus I got to pull the airbag. I found that a combo of brake fluid and soaking in soapy water works best(dont have a power washer :( ) anyway:

You guys are inspiring. :D

I have spare interior parts all over the place. I was thinking of having the trim pieces overlaid with dark blue carbon fiber. The doors need the speaker grilles done and the door handle 'cup' done as well. Adding a pair of chrome door handles and some contrasting buttons would look cool too.

I still have a set of the original run of reverse indiglo gauges to install as well.

Looks really good Matt! You probably don't need to get anything off the airbag...are you sure it has a "coating" on it? I would think it doesn't because all the air bags pretty much have the same style material.

Serge also hooked me up with some LincolnMotorSport white face gauges :D

The black/graphite two tone interior looks killer, man... post some pics up when you get the LMS gauges installed, I was thinking for a sec of putting them in the 96 but the car is basically stock and runs high 14's it wouldn't fit as well as your car...
