Track elevation was 1200' and with temps at 90* plus at the track, the density altitude was ridiculously high. I only registered in the 13s once, but won 3 of 6 heads up runs.

That doesn't sound right to me... you need some new tires as JP stated. The stock 225s are pathetic for a car with a V8.

driller El Presidente Staff member May 13, 2007 #10 My street tires are 235s and I have to be careful during 'spirited' driving, even with the locking differential. I think my next set will be 245s.
