Fake Cop

This just happen.
I was coming home around 2:00 am and there was a jacked-up truck that wanted to race.At the red light I did a mid take off to the speed Limit(60 MPH).The truck pull behind me and flashes red and blue lights in the front windows.I am like #$@! what did I do?I pull over and the truck takes off.I took off after the truck to get a license plate number.The truck goes to a neighborhood and takes off,I went after the truck to ask if he was a cop but I gave up.

License plate Q8F SS2
2000-2003 White Chevrolet Truck 2 or 4 door
Big Mud tires, Big sticker on the rear windows, dark tint windows

Since you have the license number, report it to the authorities. You did nothing wrong and have nothing to fear.

Definitally REPORT that!!! Major felony there!

We had a big scare about 6 months ago....two guys were driving around in a dark blue CV all blacked out with cop lights, there was about 3 reports of them pulling over females and raping them in the back of the car.

It made the news and everything....the cops gave this advise....if you're unsure that you're being pulled over by an actual cop, do NOT roll down your window, lock the doors and call 911. They will be able to contact the police officer directly and verify.

I found that nut job today on the freeway.

Wow good luck running that thing off the road. You best be driving a Mack truck to do that.

I would report him to the authorities, and shortly after I would get the windshield replaced due to that nasty split all the way across.

They shouldn't have a hard time finding that truck.

You definitely need to report this! Forget about just pissing you off by fooling you. Like J said, these guys could be pulling some serious crap on innocent people like extortions rapes, assaults. You wouldn't want someone to get hurt knowing it was these clowns. I got pulled over for having my red emblem light up. The cop told me that only emergency vehicles are allowed to have blue/red lights in front of the vehicle. FYI, if someone tries to pull you over with only the spotlight or the yellow lights, it is not a legitimate detention so you don't have to stop even if it’s a cop (but if it is a real cop I would pull over for your own well being).
