HAS anyone tried the liquid clay bar. I seen it in the store and wondered has anybody tried it. if not i know people have used the regular clay bar so i guess i will wiat till i get some responses.

Don't waste your money. A clay bar works because of it's physical characteristics not it's chemical ones. The liquid "clay" is just a strong cleaner, it's can't remove imbedded particles from your paint surface the way a real bar can.

Thats what I was thinking but since I didn't actually know I wasn't going to post.

I'll give clay bar another huge thumbs up. I used it again 2 weeks ago on Jeremi's 97 that I bought and the results were great. The paint felt pretty good to begin with but now it's like glass. Actually I used it on the glass, the plastic tail lights and the wheels (they were last). I was again amazed at all the crap that was pulled out of the paint. I probably wouldn't use it on the wheels unless you have already used the clay a few times and plan to buy a new one. I had used it 4 times already and felt it was time for a new one so getting it loaded with crap from the wheels didn't bother me. Also, the wheels were super clean so it really didn't pick up too much.

Did mine three weeks ago. I get comments all the time about the shine of my car. They look even more amazed when I tell them the paint is 9.5 years old. Clay bar + elbow grease = long lasting shine.
