this is by far the sweetest mark VIII ever built.

Wow thanks for posting that!

Personally that is the UGLIEST thing I have ever seen. But the worksmanship is amazing!!

It's a fascinating idea, surely better than those ugly Lambo doors you see everywhere. The mechanism and hydraulics sure are complicated though and seem to require a lot of maintenance... and the driver's door doesn't even work.

There's no door panels, and what is there looks hideous. Trunk space is gone too. I'd prefer lambo style doors.

Barf.......Lambo or ever Suiside or Gullwing doors would get more attention.

I think it looks awesome, and I would trade mine for it in a second. Reminded me of the BMW Z1 kinda.

Wow! The bid has passed $10,000! Thats a lot of dough for a drivers door that doesn't work and a puddle of fluid.

What the ???????

What the ???????

Wowww If i never saw that video, i wouldn't of believed it was possible. I aggree with all the junk in the trunk and extra maintenance plus weight. Plus the interior skins on doors are hideous and naked,
But bottom line from an engineering standpoint......that thing is sweeeet. Look at how high the seats are for the raised floor.
7.5 amps for the power source? Don't you weld with alot lower? Just at a higher freq? Kudos to the fab shop for that one even if the drivers door needs some love. I'm sure whoever is buying that thing for 20,000.00 will get it fixed up right and new paint for a showcar. Thanks for sharing! :)

I am so sick of seeing this "gizmo"
it's a mess, and it doesnt work.
if the air ride fails, you're stuck inside your car...gee, that's comforting.

and that sucker is up over $20k right now.

Marty McFly and the Doc were closer to a cool car.

Wow, I didn't think about that. Imagine that, your air ride craps out and your alternator dies in the middle of the summer. You are going to be cooked!

Anyway, I can't understand who the hell is paying 20k for that thing. Mind blowing!

**EDIT** It's up to 22.3k

Perhaps like the factory sunroof, it has an emergency manual crank?

I'm sure it won't be the last you see of this.
