Congradulations Frog on drawing such a neat Poker Hand (Duces wild, right),and keepin your ride alive that long.

PS:
Don't forget to stop and get some gas soon. LOL

oddly enough it was in the middle of my E85 experiment

its ok at lower elevations where it can get enough oxygen but here in Denver the car will hardly run

So uh... did you take that picture yourself? I've only gotten my Mark up that fast once (actually to about 130) and wouldn't DARE take my eyes off the road or hands off the wheel at that point.

I did Vegas to LA going 95, no stops. 2 hours, 45 minutes.

But my Mark's suspension is really beefed...very Trans Am-like.

Congrats that is a LOT of miles for any car ... I love the fact that you're doing over 100 lol.

There is something about making a shift at 140-150mph... you just don't want to subject the transmission to that.

There was also a much better and technical explanation to this but I forgot at my old age.

I dont know much about automatics. Why would it not be in OD? Will it not shift up into OD until the throttle is lifted?

I know it was shut off, but what i meant was why would it harm the OD going that fast if it was on?
