The 93 drive shaft is a one piece design, the 98 is a two piece design, so yes, it is better. How much better, that's hard to say.

Quick question... Isnt the 93 driveshaft an upgrade for like the 98s? Say a 98 LSC?

In my 95 w/ 373's I had a pretty bad vibration at 90+MPH with the stock driveshaft.

With the 93 shaft in my car it GLIDES past 140MPH with no vibrations or goofy stuff.

So yes, the 93 shaft is better than the 94-98 shaft.
For 100.00 it's not a bad deal.

Now if your 98 has stock gears and you dont have any vibration problems, then it's not going to "do anything" for you... if you have vibrations.. then you will LIKE the 93 shaft.

Replacing my 98 base model driveshaft with a 93 one piece definitely helped, and I didn't think I had bad vibrations. I apparently was wrong. ;)

Good point, sometimes the vibrations are "there" and people dont realize it, or write it off to "road noise"..

Then when the vibrations are gone,..the difference is night and day.

My brother has a black 1998 LSC with a bad vibration will your one piece fit in my 98 with no modifications?

If so, I am interested!

Thanks,
BEN

PM replied to.

Yes, this would be a direct bolt in to a 1998. I can not guarantee that it will fix his vibration issues, as many things can contribute to that condition.

I actually had two of these 93 style shafts, so if you wanted one Ben, just let me know. I think the other is spoken for.

air bags still around

air bags still around

I could use the air bags... if you still have them. was that $150 + shipping for all four and accessories?

Yes, I have one 93 drive shaft left.

Someone is supposed to be sending money for the two front struts, so they might be sold. If not, I will let you know. I do still have the other stuff for sure.

Thomas

The front struts are sold. Here is what I have left:

Rear Air Bags
Ride Height Sensors
Air Ride Compressor
1993 Driveshaft
2 Cooling Fans
1993 Tranny - Complete
2 Gen 1 Grilles
Fuel lines, filter to rail

I will also be parting out two motors from 1993's this coming weekend.
