I'm going to look at it tonight, I wasn't looking for something this crazy but his price is very low, pretty much book value. I hope is looks as good in person as it does in the pics. What do you think???

Turbo diesel 2000 F250 with lots of extras including the new 20" Weld rims you see in the pics.

The truck does look very nice... but do you have any uses for a 6000lbs truck?

It is fairly expensive to maintain as well...

I have a boat that I need to tow and I will be getting a larger boat in a few years so a PSD was really something I wanted so I wouldn't have to upgrade in a few years. It has about 110k on it but it is in good mechanical and physical shape. A couple nicks and scratches but nothing major. A good buff, wax, and interior clean and it will look excellent. It literally feels like you are driving a monster truck, the roof is something like 90 inches tall.

Nice truck, but if you tow your boat with it, won't you be plowing up the road with your prop?:D

The only thing I would be worried about is how much boost he has been running with an after market chip. They do have turbos, don't they?

I took a second look at an 05 model sitting at the Walmart parking lot. It had aftermarket wheels but I don't think it was raised.

I believe that year they had the 7.3L intercooled turbo powerstroke diesel. There was no way to up the boost with a chip but you could up the fuel to dangerously high EGTs.

Does it have a pyrometer? Pre or post turbo? With any chipped diesel, that is the number one concern.

Just towing, EGT is a concern...I put in an EGT gauge, engine oil temp gauge and a tranny gauge...on a pod. I was glad I had them on my X-country trip.

It has a pyro, not sure if its before or after the turbo. It also has a trans temp and boost gauge. It felt very strong while driving it. The tune is only a 50hp tune, the diesels are capable of MUCH more with a tune so it's pretty mild. It does have a 100 hp setting but he said he just never really felt it was necessary so he didn't use it.

On my '02 PSD, I ran +75 HP with a modded intake and opened up exhaust - 4" downpipe and 5" all the way back. Pyro temps were same as stock with the breathing mods. Oh, and it was a six speed.

Be careful running TOO much added power with the 6.0 unless the heads have had the bolts replaced with studs. Just a little too much boost and the head gaskets blow out. The oem head bolts stretch quite easily. Go to Ford-Trucks.com and into the 6.0 forum for lots of info on the problem.

I just got it home last night. What a truck, it's HUGE. It needs a few minor things and some cleaning up but it runs great. The sound of the turbo through the 5" exhaust is amazing. I'll have some pics up in a week or so when I detail it this weekend.

Sweet! Congrats on the truck... is the 05 Front end swap straight forward? Makes the truck look way cool!
