Hey guys, I've decided to sell my '95 Mark VIII. Jewel Green with tan interior. Car has only 64k original miles. I bought this car for my wife 6 or so months ago on Craigslist and about 2 months later I found a '98 Mark VIII here on Craigslist w/only 16k original miles and bought that one also. I gave my wife the '98 and kept this one for myself but I really dont need it and dont use it much.
When I bought this car (60k miles)it still had the trouble prone air suspension and although it worked fine the compressor was a bit loud and I didn't want to take any chances as this was the car my wife took the kids out in and replaced it with all NEW conventional struts and springs at a cost of $600. This is the biggest issue with these cars and the air ride is very costly to replace. Whoever buys this car will not have to worry about suspension related problems with this one.
EVERYTHING in this car works as it should (except the cruise control, the engine is very powerful and smooth. Its the same 4 cam 32v motor that was later used in Mustang Cobra's and is rated at 280hp. These engines are known for their reliability and excellent performance. The interior is just about perfect, leather is soft and there is hardly and wear at all. The climate controlled A/C is ICE COLD!. Front tires are new and I also had the windows tinted to help keep the car cool inside plus for looks. Digital on board computer works perfect and has digital readouts that tell you all vital things like if the voltage is good, engine temp, fuel mileage, miles till empty and cool stuff like a compass. Has the Home Link system too a feature that I love. You can program your 2 garage door openers and remote gate entrance right on the visor. Memory power seats are another great feature. Car also has traction control and overdrive on/off switch on the shifter. I also added some sport mufflers that give the car a real musclecar sound. I have almost $5k into this car and have made several improvements since I got it so someone out there will be getting a good deal @ $3750. Email me with the provided link or call me @727-789-3916.
KNOWN PROBLEMS:
1.Cruise control not working
2.Check engine light stays on. Its been on since I bought the car and mechanic said not to worry about it cause the car runs perfect. 3.Paint on front bumper, passenger fender and hood is a little lighter than the rest. Not very noticeable but I want to point out everything
In short this is definately a "get in and drive anywhere car". You wont have to put any money into it for a long time. Drives great. Other than what I mentioned this car needs nothing.
