Pics of my new LS (finally)

Sorry it took so long, but i finally got her all waxed up and a sunny day to take some pics. of course then i find my digi camera's battery died, so these are cell phone pics, sorry for the quality.

She's a 2004 with every option, including the air-cooled seats, THX system and navigation, and heated rear seats, as well as HID's (which after driving a mark seem to light up the road like it's noon day) It also came with a spoier, tinted windows, and 18's, although the chrome is shot to hell on the rims. Only 27,000 miles, and it wasn't first sold until 01/06 so it still has tons of warranty left. The LS is better then the mark in just about every way, the only way the mark is better is cause of the J-moded tranny, the LS shifts soooo slow.

Congrats! Sweet ride and black too! I always loved the LS's when they came out, but wished they made em in two doors versions. Black cars rule when you get them all Meguired up under the streetlights.
Looks like you'll be hunting a SCT chip for it to take care of the sluggish shifts? And you have OBD2 so you can have your tuner go to town on it.

I love those 03-05 LS V8 models, especially the LSE.

I did a lot of NVH work on the prototype DEW 98 platform. It was the S type Jaguar in England. I still remember driving a manual trans V6 prototype through the countryside.

Please tell me that it is still a quiet car.

Thanks guys! I love this car, i can't get over the night and day difference to the mark. i find myself making excuses to go somewhere just to drive it.

Max, the THX is by far the best sounding stock system i've ever heard. it needs some tweaks though, the tweeters get abit thrashy at high volumes, and it lacks a punch from the midbass. i've been looking into seeing if i can get my rainbows in there, but i don't think i can without replacing everything. The XO's are located in the head unit, not the amp

Bill, it's amazingly quiet, when i don't have the stereo turned up to 11 lol.

Jeff, as soon as i can afford it i am getting the chip, but i may get the intake first, they say it gives 15 hp to the wheels, and it looks so shiny lol. i can't wait to see what the chip does for the shifts, once those are firmed up it will be an amazing ride!

Yea I heard it sounds pretty good plus I think it is the only system that is THX certified!! Enjoy it I wish I had a car that I wanted to take everywhere lol... find excuses not to drive it because of whatever reasons... but that always happens with me.

I almost bought an LS to replace my Mark. But, since I had sold my truck, I wanted to be able to at least pull a uhaul trailer and the hitch for the LS had to come out thru the valence. I didn't want to cut a hole in the car.

So you put a hitch on a Dodge Magnam?
