'98 Mark VIII Aux Input

Hey Guys -

I am thinking about purchasing an AUX input adapter for my '98 Mark VIII. I have found the following adapter:
http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piefrdfaux.html

I was just wondering if anyone had an experience in doing this. My car has the JBL with the In-Dash CD Player. I'm kinda worried that it's not going to have the correct inputs on the back, however. If anyone knows of any instructions on how to pull the head-unit, that would be great too.

For those of you who are curious, here are some pictures of the car:

It's got 66,000 on it, and I just bought it about 3 months ago.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums! Nice mark... but your front wheels are on backwards.

Is that a '64 Galaxie in the picture?

It's the correct adapter. Use these instructions to remove the radio:

Disregard the part about removal of seat belts, etc. That is only if you are installing a CD changer in the trunk.

Those wheels are directional 10 spokes. You probably have one facing the wrong way on the driver's side. Use the way the wheel is facing that is on the right rear (passenger side) to put them all straight. Take one off, there should be an arrow stamped into the wheel on the inside showing direction of rotation. Nice looking Mark!!

I knew the adapter was the right adapter, but I was more concerned that I would get it apart and there would be no connection for the input jack.

So do you know if the unit with the in-dash CD Player has a connection for an auxillary CD Changer? That's the part I'm concerned about.

Thanks for the kind comments about the car.

The manufacturer says it fits and I'm looking at that back of a radio as we speak. There is an extra male plug that looks like the one in the oicture.

Thanks for all your help. The CD Changer input must take precedence over the in-dash unit then when it's installed.

Looks like I'm going to be flipping my rims and installing an aux input very soon :). I think I just need to flip the left-front with the right-front. Ironically, I was just looking at some pictures of Mark VIIIs for sale and like 50% of them had their rims backwords also.
