Stock 17" ls wheels on a tereador red 97 lsc lowered 1.5"

They don't make Toreador Red like they used to. :p

Seriously, I don't think the LS wheels will fit on a Mark VIII.
 
naw, they fit as they have the same bp and only 1-2mm offset diff...It has been done before to mk8's i was just curious as to how they'd look.

Though they could use a little bit of a spacer so they stick out alittle more. For looks really.
 
Wheels are highly subjective to personal taste.

My taste would be chrome. Especially on a Toreador Red LSC. ;)

I hear ya...I do like them but am afraid their to small. I have 20's on my marquis and those look small! Im not going to do that to the mk though. Some look good some dont and am not sure if they'll work with the drop. I have so many directions i could go though..such as
