a mini cooper TRIED to race me this morning...

Was it at least a Mini Cooper S?!

Because the normal one has 115hp and 111 of torque which is less than a civic lol...

The Cooper S has 168hp hahaha

They are tons of fun around corners though.
 
I can't count the number of Minis and Hondas that have tried to race me. The worst is when the pull up next to me right at 35 when I'm in the middle of the power band and floor it... haha
 
yea it was a cooper s, and yea he tried that whole blowing me away thing while at like 35. funny thing is a sl500 was quite surprised at my speed last night on the way to work, I think he was stunned he couldn't pass me. oh well, they'll all learn eventually
 
S500 should be at least on par with Mark VIII when it comes to performance...

Cooper S is a bit slower... Running high 15s...
 
Back when my 95 was new I raced a old,old,old BMW 325 i think four door on the freeway from a 60 mph kick and i thought he was gonna kick my butt,musta been bored out or had a turbo.It looked cherry for the age on it.
 
Emm turbo in a 325 bmw? lol They only came with a 2.5l I6 with 190-200hp or so...

I have had the coupe version which was lighter and I had the manual... so it was the fastest 325 bmw made... and that thing was quite a bit slower compared to the Mark VIII...

The 325 automatics are completely pathetic... more than a sec slower through the 1/4.
 
LOL!!!! I wish i could show you guys my kill list, i rip the florida turnpike almost every day, never been beat! s500 might show you the same 1/4 time but from a rolling start, or especially highway speed start, with the mark, you might as well forget urr 1/4 time slip,my friend has a civic (tottally aftermarket) that runs 11's in the quarter mile (mine runs low 14s) but at 75mph start ill smoke him all the way to 150+, i can shift to 2nd gear at 78mph at 5800rpms :)

and by the way mike, at 35 you can still hit first gear, that pos can barely hit 2nd at that speed, they stand no chance :)

Emm ok what?!

A civic that runs 11s and can't keep up with a mark ?! That makes no sense... that civic has to be pushing 400FWHP to be in the 11s and it would smoke any mark if it was even close to the 11s.

How does your mark run 150+? It took me a good 3 min to get to that speed.

And sorry pal 2nd gear comes at 55mph or so I have no idea where you got the 78mph # as well as the 5800rpms?! You would have to be at 7000+rpms to be shifting into 2nd at that speed.
