How Can I Adjust Height on NEW Air Struts?

I just had NEW airstruts put into the car, I replaced the selenoids too.

Now it seems the car is leaning down on the drivers side. Front and Rear.
Measure the wheels to the fender and there is about 3/4 to 1 inch difference one side to the other.

Is there a way to adjust the height sensor to rise up one or the other air bag without modifying anything?

Thanks

You have to loosen the ball stud and move it for the adjustment. Remember that moving the ball stud down towards the ground raises the car and moving it up (away) lowers the car.

For additional info on this subject to the "tech/faq" banner near the top of the page. Look for the "sensor lowering" discussion for all the info you need.

In addition, be VERY CAREFUL with that ball stud, it breaks with very little torque.

When I broke the first one, I was amazed at how little effort I was putting on the bolt when the crappy "pot metal ball stud" broke.

They are not easy to find either,other than a Junkyard.. or MAX at fivestar ford.
most other ford dealers, either, cant or wont go thru the trouble to "FIND" this very easy to break part

Though a broken ball stud can be fixed if you have a tap kit. Then you can screw in a steel headless shaft that will never break.

I think we got them from Max for 8 bucks, but I cant remember.

Now have 2-3 of them in my tool box from my salvage yard ventures along with some brake caliper pins and boots.

Since I have a spare, I can say without hesitation that I will probably NEVER break one again {funny how that works..huh?}
