1996 Mark VIII LSC for sale, low miles!

I've decided to sell my '96 LSC. The 2005 Mustang bug has bitten :)

Here are the details:

57,000 miles

Clean Carfax history

Always a Colorado car (I live near Denver, no road salt, no rust, clean undercarriage)I don't drive it in wintery conditions.

Dark Baltic Blue ('96 only color, actually a really nice dark purple, not the "Barney" color)

Light grey interior, minor driver's seat wear, extra set of NOS LSC front floor mats

Reinhardt SCT tuner

Air intake silencer removed

Engine beauty cover removed, but in good shape and included

New second generation front struts

New Mustang Cobra convertible Bilstein rear shocks, with new upper shock mounts.

New Accel spark plug wires and fresh Autolite 764 copper plugs

New fuel filter

New passenger side HID lamp correctly installed (no cut or spliced wiring)

Recent alignment set to the "aggressive" specs found on the TCCoA website

Module VIII with height control mounted (hidden)in the ashtray, and module neatly installed in the glove box

NO sunroof, NO cell phone

Traction control

JBL sound system with working CD changer and 2 extra cartridges

Painted 10 spoke directional wheels with decent 225/60/16 Michelins

Four (4) 20 spoke chrome directional wheels with nearly new 245/50/16 Nitto 555 Drag Radials.

Mobil 1 oil every 3,000 miles

Mercon V transmission flush at 54,000 miles

Rear axle gear oil changed at 54,000 miles

Rear window gasket has NO ripples

Windshield has NO cracks or chips

The paint is good, there are some minor scratches from a previous owner, but no collisions or dents.

I will sell the chrome 20 spoke wheels without the drag radials for $200. The wheels themselves are in very good condition. However, the plastic center caps have some areas where the vapor deposited aluminum that looks like chrome has been scratched off. That's why I never used the center caps. Physically, the caps are in good shape, they could be refinished.

The new owner lives near Washington D.C. He's new to Mark VIIIs, but may ask questions on the forums in the near future.

The new Mustang has been ordered:

GT Premium
5 speed manual
Windveil Blue
Spoiler delete
Light Graphite interior with leather
Interior Upgrade Package
Machined aluminum wheels

It should be delivered in December or January. Thanks to all who make this forum so valuable. I'll still check in from time to time.
