Well I used to be a semi-hater of this car... for 70k it is not really all that cheap... but once you factor in the fact that it matches or beats the performance of a 911 Turbo that costs 130k... and that it is faster 0-60 than a Viper and a Z06 Vette one thing becomes clear... this is the BEST supercar bargain out right now...

Of course it is Japanese which is pretty sad...

I still can't figure out if this is ringer car or not but how does one get a 3900# car through the 1/4 in 11.6 seconds is beyond me. The Z06 Vette has 500 hp and almost !!!800!!!! less pounds yet it is slower...

Some stats for you guys and gals:
base price is around 70k
3900#
AWD
3.8 V6 Twin Turbo
480hp
440ft/trque
6 speed dual clutch... automatic/manual (best way to describe it)

0-60 in 3.3 SECONDS!!!!

This car is a tuners dream... minus the fact that it is so god damn heavy.

AWD probably helps with that 1/4 mile time, less time spinning than a z06.

This thing is going to be sweet. I've always had respect for the nice Japanese tuners, like the Skyline's, Supra's, Nissan's Z cars, just to name a few. Been waiting on this one for awhile.

Once the tuners crack the computer, these things are gonna get crazy fast.

hahaha :D I hear ya... all you need to do with cars like that is tweak the ECU... I wouldn't be surprised if someone can make this thing run 10s on a stock drivetrain... which is INSANE!

There have been a couple of stock C6 Z06's running in the high 10's. I wouldn't be suprised if the GT-R numbers might be a freak or have the boost turned up more than the production cars will. Because it's numbers just don't add up. Less power and more weight should be not be faster than the Z06 even when you figure in traction. I have rode in a Z06 and they hook really well with a good driver. But we will see how they do once they hit the street.

While I was in Okinawa a few years ago I loved the skylines. I'm not an import guy at all but skylines have always been sweet.
