2010 Car Craft Summer Nationals

VIII looking for 8s
If work permits, I plan to be there on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. I'll be in the silver frost Mark VIII with both Lincoln forum stickers on the windshield and Mickeys on the rear. PM me if you plan on going and want to meet up sometime when I'm there. :)

P.S. If I can find some cheap steelies, I may slaughter the old tires at the burnout contest. :D

Hmm.. State faregrounds, eh? I may need to research this a bit..

We will be there again in the same spot as usual. See red oval on map below. Right across the street from where they sell the garlic fries!! All current and former MN12/FN10 owners. We've got people coming in from WI and MI. If anybody else wants to park there feel free. There is usually good shade.

I won't be waiting in line to be in first thing in the morning but one guy will be to save some spots. I should be there by 9 am each morning.

Ok, sounds good! I'll try my best amongst the chaos at the fairgrounds to make this happen. :D I plan to be there at 8AM sharp on Saturday to register.

I am seriously considering as well. Of course, I'd likely be the only nearly stock car there, from the looks of things.

ooh.. and I'd have to wash it.

Carcraft, as usual, was awesome. I actually managed not to get a sunburn somehow. Met Mr Stromberg and a couple other people who have or had Mark VIII's. Below is the first picture I took with the Y2K Cobra R's.

The next get-together is the annual Muscle Car Shootout at BIR over labor day weekend.

Sounds like it was a great show. I'm sorry I didn't make it this year! (got any more photos?)

Instead, I ended up distributing dirt around my yard, and cutting up a large tree that fell in the storm..

I should have gone to the show.

Crash, I saw a Charcoal Green Mark VIII also. Your car and that one was my favorites of the 5 or 6 that I saw there. I really like the Carbon Fiber accenting inside, the black leather seats, the low mileage, the color, the wheels, and of course, the Vortech Supercharger which I hate you for. :D;) So yeah, I guess you could say that I am all around jealous of your car. :)

What about the Wilwood 6 piston calipers?

If you are up for any autocrossing, August 1 at Dakota County Tech. I just signed up today. I've never autocrossed before, but gotta start somewhere.

Oh yeah, that too! :p I dunno about the autocrossing yet. I noticed I might possibly have broken shock mounts in the back or something. I do have the sticky Mickeys on though now. :D

I don't think that drag radials are prefered for autox. I hated those shock mounts. I made polyurethane mounts for mine.
