I own a 93 Mark VIII and my Uncle has a 96 and a 98. Oddly, the 98 Mark VIII is weeping from the tank from age or rust. I cannot for the life of me find a new tank for a 98 anywhere on the internet. What is the difference between the 1st and 2nd generation tank? Will a first generation tank fit with some modification or is that completely different? IE can I use a certain year tank and exchange some parts over or will it just drop in? Thanks in advance.
