RE: A Chrysler worth buying
The brother of a guy on our Formula Team worked on that project at Rod Millen Motorsports where alot of it was developed. and he got to see the car before it was unveiled.
That car was nothing but problems, the night before the unvailing the German CEO guy who was going to drive the car on stage at the Detroit auto show was there to practice the unveiling. The car wasnt even finished when it was shipped to the autoshow. The car had to drive on stage and that was a problem becase if the gas pedal was depressed the car would stall. This was mentioned to the CEO during rehersal while he was about to drive the car on stage, he looked up at the guy who told him ( the leader of the project) then he immedately floored the car and it died. He got out and said it better be fixed by tommorrow (the unveiling).
I havnt heard what happened since, but it must have worked.
Now that would be a stressful situation!!!!
oh by the way, all the numbers for acceleration and hp are educated guesses, there wasnt any actual testing done yet.
P.S. The girl that displaying the ME412 at the show was very very good looking... quite possibly my favorite at the show, but there was also a good one by the chevy nomad.
